The log cabin birdhouse is best suited for Swallows.
We have had Bluebirds, Wrens and Nuthatch renters.
The log cabin birdhouse is designed to be mounted on a building, tree or pole.
Swallows are good neighbors with each other, most other birds and people.

This old log cabin birdhouse has a mountain log cabin appearance, including a front porch, handrail, wood for the fireplace, simulated logs, windows and door, a small birdhouse, cedar shake roofs and the chimney to attach the birdhouse to the side of a building or post.  

This log cabin birdhouse comes plumbed with three drains and two natural air conditioners (vents), one directly across from the bird entrance hole and the second is under the front porch roof.  It is insulated with 7/8" cedar.

Like all our birdhouses it has a raised nesting floor to prevent the potential of water seeping in under the birdhouse into the nesting area.

By removing three screws on the bottom you can take the bottom off for a complete spring cleaning.  

The front porch seems to be the favorite spot for fatherbird when motherbird is on the nest during one of those rainy days.
