Wild Bird Art

Wild bird art is a special type of art because of the artist talent and emotions and love that goes into every artistic work. Even though photography art can be breathtaking, it doesn't compare to an excellent artist brush.

If you've ever painted a picture you know what I'm talking about. You not only get the painting on the canvas, but you also bring home the artist talent, emotions and love, in the canvas.

There are many types of artist, like Carl Brenders or Bev Dolitte, not to overlook other disciplines or styles of artist, like surreal, abstract, impressionism, etc. Which ever it is, it will bring warm wonderful feelings every time you look at it hanging on your wall.

Wild Bird Photography

I apologize, but photography is just as difficult as the paint brush, if not more. First you have to walk to get there, whether a short trail or miles into the unknown. Next, you have to find you subject, bird, then hope the lighting is perfect, and finally the bird has the right pose or the perfect flight, in perfect light, in perfect position, and it isn't sticking its tongue out at you like most kids.

It can take hundreds of pictures to get the right one, sometimes, thousands. I sure like digital cameras, especially the delete button, saves me hundreds of dollars in developing fees.

If you are a fair to good photographer, you may just get lucky and get that one in a million picture. Mine was not that good regarding clarity, but when I downloaded in on the computer and fired up Photoshop and said what the heck is that, it's a bird in the tree top, I didn't see it when I snapped that picture of the Navy EA6B going down the river in their training area. WOW! Little bird watching big bird, I love it!

Oh, and those two redtailed hawks are inverted, I didn't flip the picture.
